Responsibilities include performance consistent with format and direction given by Program Director(s) and engineering. Must be available to work weekends, holidays and occasional vacation fill-in. Qualifications include 2 or more years of experience and knowledge of FCC rules and regulations preferred. For board operator submissions, prior experience with Prophet Systems Nexgen preferred but not necessary. Remote technicians must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Skills Required: This position requires good interpersonal and planning skills. Successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience, will be required to interface with sales, promotions and programming to maximize potentials. Skills require High power AM and FM transmitter experience; Am Directional knowledge. FCC compliance, studio maintenance and construction skills, Bench repair and knowledge of digital audio systems, specifically RCS/Prophet, computers and networking is a Big plus. On call and local travel is required. Valid driver’s license with good driving record is a required.
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Related technical education a plus.
