125-MILE TRAFFIC JAM IN RUSSIA LASTED THREE DAYS: A traffic jam in Russia that started on Friday (November 30th) stretched from St. Petersburg and Moscow for 125 miles and lasted through Sunday (December 2nd). The massive jam was caused by storm that dumped three feet of snow in the area. One truck driver, who was frustrated with the lack of involvement from authorities, told reporters, "Drivers help one another and that's it, the problems are on the side of the authorities, there are no gasoline tankers, no water, nothing, we are just stuck here." Russian citizens reportedly took to social networks to complain about price gouging that happened along the highway. (CNN & Reuters)
