Back in February a young man in Spain had a dream about Pope Benedict resigning and the new Pope being called Francis -- and there's proof on Twitter! On the morning of February 11th, the man's girlfriend Yolanda De Mena posted -- in Spanish -- about her partner's dream on Twitter. When translated, the tweet reads in English, "My boyfriend woke up last night at 4am saying he had dreamed of a new pope called 'Francis I' and Benedict resignation today." Many believe the tweet was somehow faked, but it is visible in the timeline with the original date. On Thursday (March 14th) De Mena wrote on Twitter, "But we really have not rigged anything, the story was just as we told you, did not think I had this impact and virality. :)" De Mena went from having around a 100 followers to thousands.
