Tool is putting a little something extra in five copies of the upcoming deluxe edition of the band's 1992 debut EP, Opiate. A certificate called the "Seal of Xatanitos" will be placed in five random copies of the disc, which comes out next Tuesday (March 26th). The prize for fans who find a ticket in their copy of the EP will be disclosed only to each of the five winners.
SIDE NOTES: Adam Jones told Spin that the members of Tool have been spending much of this month in music-writing mode for their long-awaited new album, saying, "Writing is a different perspective now. It's taken a little longer. And besides that, we've had a couple major setbacks that we're recovering from. I'm calling March 'March Madness' because I've been really trying to kick ass and focus on this thing and get it to a point where we're all happy."
