A woman who tried to buy a $20 cassette adapter at a Radio Shack in Montgomery County, Maryland claims her receipt identified her as an "ugly itch" from "ghettohood, usa, tattoville, Maryland." Shanae Lewis got into an argument with a salesman at the store over the county's 5-cent bag tax which she didn't know about because she doesn't pay that tax where she lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Lewis demanded a refund and received it, along with a receipt that had "ugly itch, ghettohood, usa, tattoville, Maryland" typed at the bottom. She claims the salesman admitted to typing the words as a joke but she said she was shocked then angered by it. Lewis said she hopes to get the salesman fired and has already placed a call to Radio Shack's corporate office. (The Consumerist)
