Green Day have postponed their next four months' worth of tour dates to allow frontman Billie Joe Armstrong to continue his stint in rehab.
The trio was set for a small run of shows from November 26th in Seattle through December 10th in Tempe, Arizona, with a month-long arena tour scheduled from January 7th in Green Bay, Wisconsin through February 8th in Las Vegas. All the dates will be re-scheduled for later in 2013. They've also moved up the release of Tre from January 15th to December 11th.
Bassist Mike Dirnt says, "Obviously the timing for this isn't ideal, but Billie Joe's well-being is our main concern. We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well, and we want to thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes that we have received, and we can't wait to see you all again soon."
